Legalisation requirements for Gambia

Document for use in Gambia first needs to be legalised by way of FCDO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of Gambia for further attestation.

FEES

The consular fee is £50 per document.

PROCESSING TIME

The consular processing time is likely to be 2-3 weeks.

IMPORTANT NOTES

A photocopy of the document is required upon submission to the Consulate.

A letter from the applicant requesting the legalisation is also required with a copy of the applicant’s passport. 

Method of payment: cash only.

Opening hours: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.
