Document for use in Ethiopia needs first to be legalised by way of FCO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of Ethiopia for further attestation.
The consular fee is £80 per commercial document or £75 for personal documents for matters related to foreign nationals and £49 per personal document for matters related to Ethiopian nationals (Ethiopian passport or ID card holders).
Turnaround time is likely to be 3-4 working days.
Ethiopian Documents must first be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ethiopia.
Documents that have not been issued in the UK or Ethiopia must be authenticated by the governing body of the country where the documents were issued.
