Legalisation requirements for Burma (Myanmar)
Document for use in Burma (Myanmar) first needs to be legalised by way of FCDO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of Burma (Myanmar) for further attestation.

Turnaround time is likely to be 2-3 weeks.
IMPORTANT NOTES
**The Consulate is accepting submission of documents for legalisation by appointment only.**
The Myanmar Consulate in London accept documents issued in the British Overseas Territories, Crown Dependencies, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Republic of Ireland, which need to be first attested by the relevant Government in the country/region of origin prior to submitting directly to the Consulate for further legalisation.
Only documents from the British Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies are required to be Apostilled by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) prior to submitting to the Consulate for further legalisation.
Foreign documents except the ones issued in the above mentioned countries/regions ARE NOT accepted in any circumstances. Even when a business document relates to a company incorporated overseas, but is signed by a legal representative in the UK, it CANNOT be legalised by the Consulate in the UK. The legalisation must be done in the country where the company is incorporated.
