Document for use in Bangladesh needs first to be legalised by way of FCO Apostille and then submitted to the Consulate of Bangladesh for further attestation.
The consular fee is £20 per document related to commercial matters and £7 per document related to personal matters. Additional postal order fee applies.
Turnaround time is likely to be 2-3 working days. Submissions between 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm only.
For legalisation of personal documents, the holder of the document must attend the consular section in person with original proof of ID.
Commercial documents only can be legalised via Agents.
Subordinate documentation may be required depending on the type of commercial documents submitted for legalisation.
Commercial documents are attested by the Commercial wing of the High commission (4th Floor, Room-25).
Photocopy of the document is required on submission.
